Kandji Web App Release 2024.09.04

The Kandji web app has been updated, including the following improvements:

• Library Item statuses shown on individual device records now show the Last Audit timestamp for "Checked In" instead of the Last Install date, making it more clear the last time Kandji evaluated state for the item(s).

• Added support for specifying a "details URL" for Managed OS Library Items, which is presented to users when software updates are being managed via Declarative Device Management, including in iOS/iPadOS 17+, and macOS 14+.

• A new icon is shown throughout Kandji when Auto App Library Items are set to Update Only to help distinguish them from those set to only Continuously Enforce.

• Added the ability in the System Extensions Library Item to specify whether end users should be able to turn off MDM allowed System Extensions in System Settings*. (Note: Kandji has defaulted this choice to off for all currently managed System Extensions.)

• Added new Setup Assistant screens that can be skipped in the Automated Device Enrollment Library Item for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS*

• Calculator can now be placed on the Home Screen for iPadOS using the Home Screen Layout Library Item*

• The new Passwords app can now be placed on the Home Screen for iOS and iPadOS using the Home Screen Layout Library Item*

• Added a new Safari Extensions Library Item, delivered with Declarative Device Management, for iOS and iPadOS*

• Added ability to disable MAC address randomization in the WiFi Library Item for macOS*
