The Kandji web app has been updated, including the following improvements:

Tags

New enterprise API endpoints have been added to retrieve/get, create, update, and delete tags.

Additionally, the Get Devices and Patch Devices endpoints have been updated to support getting and setting tags. The Get Devices endpoint also supports new query parameters to filter returned devices by tags. When patching a device's tags, if a tag is supplied that has not already been created, it will be created automatically (just as it would be in the UI).

Important note: Following RESTful conventions, when patching a device's tags, the entire set of desired tags must be included in the request.

See the enterprise API documentation for more details.

Assignment Maps

When editing an Assignment Map, the Library Item bank will now automatically refresh when leaving and returning to the page. This allows for the creation of new Library Items in one tab and the live editing of an Assignment Map in the other, without needing to manually refresh the browser.

Other Improvements

  • Arbitrary configuration data can now be supplied in the Single Sign-On (SSO) Library Item to ease in configuring SSO extensions, such as those that configure Platform Single Sign-On (PSSO).

  • It's now possible to configure a host name for macOS using the Device Name Library Item without also configuring a device name.

  • We've improved the reliability of the Review and reconcile duplicate device records prompt.

  • The automated removal of duplicated Google Workspace users is now turned on for all customers.

  • A new enterprise API endpoint has been added for Prism to return more performant counts on large data sets. See the enterprise API documentation for more details.
