Kandji Agent 4.2.5

This release of the Kandji Agent introduces several enhancements related to the menu app and Managed OS and also includes foundational performance improvements.

Menu app enhancements

This release introduces an update to display the restart notification with line breaks rather than truncating the message. It also updates the restart icon that the Kandji menu app displays when macOS is in Dark Mode.

Managed OS enhancements

This release also updates the macOS update enforcement notification to take priority in the display over Auto App update notifications. After a user clicks Update Now or Upgrade Now, the Agent will now also force quit Terminal, Console, and the Finder if they are open.

Note: If you use one of Palo Alto Networks' security products, it may identify the Kandji Agent as malicious. To prevent that, you may need to add the hash for kandji-cli as an exception. The hash is 097fd30dd016d8bccf82b8f7d3e8c37399810f904bcfa4c84994f5c6bbfa4ccd.
