Kandji Agent 4.5.8

We've released Kandji Agent version 4.5.8 (5160), which includes the following changes:

Liftoff

• Liftoff is now localized in the following languages (which are already supported in Kandji Self Service and Kandji Passport). Note: Localization applies only to built-in strings. Customer-configurable strings need to be set separately in the Liftoff Library Item.

  • Chinese (Simplified)

  • French / French (Canada)

  • German

  • Italian

  • Japanese

  • Portuguese / Portuguese (Brazil)

  • Spanish

Passport

• The Passport Library Item now allows you to specify whether or not users can connect to unsecured networks at the Passport login window. This new option depends on first allowing the Network Manager option. When turned on, unsecured networks will no longer erroneously prompt for a password to connect. Note: Due to restrictions in macOS, captive portal networks are not supported.

• If Passport settings are changed in the Passport Library Item while a device is at the Passport login window, the settings will apply automatically without needing a restart of the device.

Parameters

• When the Enforce a custom policy banner Parameter is turned off, the policy banner is now automatically removed, avoiding the need to run a separate clean-up script.

Other Improvements

• We've improved the reliability of the Manage Location Services Parameter.

• A selected category in Self Service is now maintained during and after a Kandji Agent run.
