We've updated the Kandji web app, including the following changes:
New Features
New Localization Support
We're excited to introduce Multilingual Support for Kandji, including German, Japanese, and Spanish (Latin America). This allows Team Members to interact with Kandji in their preferred language.
- Company Language Setting: Team Members with the Owner role can now set the Company Language in
Settings > General
. This setting will apply to all Team Members by default, ensuring a consistent experience across the organization. - User Language Preference: Each Team Member can now personalize their experience by setting their own language in their Profile settings. This personal setting will override the company-wide language setting, giving Team Members control over their interface language.
- Date Format Update: To streamline settings, we've removed the Date Format option from Profile settings. Now, date formatting will automatically adjust to match the selected language locale, simplifying the user experience.
- Company Language Setting: Team Members with the Owner role can now set the Company Language in
Team Members - Secrets Auditor Role
- We've introduced a new Kandji Team Member role: Secrets Auditor. This role combines all the Auditor read-only permissions with the ability to view device secrets, including FileVault recovery keys, Activation Lock, device lock PINs, and Recovery Locks. Improvements
Enterprise API
- We've expanded the Users API with a new DELETE endpoint.
Microsoft Device Compliance
- Admins can now reset a device's Microsoft Device Compliance registration status in Kandji, using the Device Action Menu.
Setup Assistant
- The FileVault screen in the macOS setup assistant now displays the organization's name instead of the customer's Kandji domain.
Application Blocking
- You can now add App Blocking rules directly to Library Items or create new ones from a device record's Applications tab.
